This is my childhood Czech friend and her children. We go way, way back. As we were born in the same month (January), we have a picture together as newborns when our moms (not knowing each other at the time) posed with some other moms during little ceremony to welcome new town residents. Something that is being still done in the Czech Republic at town halls. Then, we went to the same schools for the next 15 years. In Czech schools, children move up with the same classmates through the school so we were always in the same classroom taking the same classes. After our schooling journey we took our first real job together while renting an apartment together for a year.  And then it was time to part ways… Fast forward many years. We live our own lives, but memories and friendship remain.
